To the club in a party of five with her fiancé Charles Hildreth, Jr., of Worcester, dead, also her single older stepsister Miss Mary Rita Canning, age 26 (Born 11/19/1916. Died as Mary Rita Krizik on 2/04/2010, age 93. Last residence Tequesta, FL), her married older stepbrother Mr. William "Ski" Canning, age 28 (Born 6/05/1914. Died 5/20/1997, age 82. Last residence Worcester), and his wife Phyllis, age 27 (Born as Filomena DeBonis on 10/29/1915. Died 2/13/1993, age 77. Last residence Worcester), latter three all living at the same Worcester address as Miss Conlon, all survived. Group was seated in the main dining room by the front of the rolling wooden dance floor near the bandstand. "In the excitement, members of the party were separated..." (Worcester Telegram, 11/30/1942). Her remains were transported to Northern Mortuary, Boston. Was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy (coed Catholic high school), Worcester, in 1938. Was single. Parents Mr. and Mrs. James T., Sr., and Mary A. (Early) Conlon, same address. Her mother was the registrar of record on the October '40 WWII draft registration card of Grove survivor James "Jimmy" Coughlin (Born 12/20/1917. Died 1/17/1991, age 73), of Worcester. Latter (with his wife Helen, born 4/30/1920. Died 12/27/1998, age 78), were possibly connected with the same party (not otherwise confirmed). Her mother's younger sister was the mother of the above Mr. Coughlin. Burial at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
