A widely misreported party size of "22" was erroneous, based on an unrelated pre-Grove celebration. Actual count at the club was revealed by a brother of Mr. Fisher (not present) to a reporter as the wedding couple, "...and eight other friends" (The Cleveland Press, Cleveland, OH, 12/01/1942). Remains were transported to Northern Mortuary, Boston. Was raised in Boston. Was single. A younger sister Ruth, age 23 (not present), was shown as a night club singer in the 1940 federal census (no known Grove connection). Was tall and fit (WWII draft registration, October, '40: 6' 0," 180 lbs.). Reported decades later (in private correspondence) by a family descendant that among the products peddled by Mr. Ross was foot balm.
