In a mixed-gender party of four with her husband Earl, age 31, his married younger half-sister Mrs. Harrilyn "Dolly" Taft, age 21, of Pawtucket, RI, and Arthur Connelly, age 30, of Auburndale (Newton), MA, all dead. Latter was a watch factory coworker of her husband in Waltham, MA. Her remains were located by relatives Sunday night at Southern Mortuary in Boston. Identification was aided by, "...a new gown and hat" (Framingham News, Framingham, MA, 11/30/1942). Was raised in Cumberland, RI. Married in 1934, in Pawtucket, RI. Came from Dedham, MA, to Ashland with her husband in May 1941. Couple rented their home at the address above, the lone Grove victims from the western Hub suburb of Ashland. With her husband was one of 56 married couples present in which both spouses lost their lives (includes the Gatturnas of Roslindale, MA; wife Grace died at the scene, her husband Francis committed fire-related suicide on 1/09/1943). Survived by children Sandra, age 5, Earl, age 3, and David, age 2. Children were three of 43 minor offspring (then under age 21) who lost both parents in the holocaust (another minor child was orphaned by the loss of her single widowed father, victim Edward "Israel" Loman, age 44), 101 other known minors lost one parent each. With her husband and companion pair were four of 464 club guests killed in addition to 26 non-patrons deceased (including 17 employees, 6 visiting entertainers, one War Bonds salesgirl, also two outside passing fire rescuers), a total of 490 dead.
